About me
Christina Smith is an experienced teacher who's been in our state's Central and Leeward Districts for over thirty years. She's worked in a few different roles, including Project Director, Computer/Technology Resource Teacher, Mentor, and also Classroom Teacher. Christina is someone who really values teamwork and communication, and she enjoys finding ways to help our Complex Area programs run smoothly and effectively. You may know her from her time as 21st Century Community Learning Centers Project Director. In that role, in addition to managing and implementing the federal grant, she often collaborated with our Homeless Concerns Liaison to make sure students had access to Out-of-School Time opportunities. Basically, she worked to clear the hurdles so our most vulnerable students could participate.
Christina holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and is a certified Google Educator. Her goal is always to use her experience to support our teaching and learning communities.
