This session will walk through the Assessment Sections efforts to help develop science assessment items using Gemini and the Google Suite that are aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Attendees will learn the considerations used to create three-dimensional science assessment items that can be used for formative and summative assessments and lessons learned in our process. Attendees will also be able to collaborate with others to create shared item libraries and learn from each other on what difficulties they may have in adopting AI tools for assessment item generation. Attendees will also be able to provide feedback on what assessment item generation practices may be more helpful for teachers in the field.
