This 50‑minute professional learning session introduces K–12 principals, curriculum coordinators, and teachers to practical strategies for using AI tools with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) effectively through strong prompt design. Participants will learn how LLMs respond to prompts and how intentional prompt planning can improve output for various tasks, including class assignments, homework and assessment preparation.
Examples focus on leveraging LLMs to prepare students and teachers for state assessments without reducing instruction to test‑only practice. The session introduces the Five Core Prompt Pattern method which will take your basic searches to the next level. LLM Wizard participants will leave with reusable prompt templates and a shared understanding of how LLMs can function as a thoughtful planning partner in education.
