Chad Nacapuy is the State Virtual Education Director for Hawaii’s Department of Education, working within the Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design. With extensive experience in online education, Chad oversees the State Distance Learning Program (SDLP) and the State Kaiapuni Distance Learning Program (SKDLP), which provides a virtual education option to students across the state. His leadership focuses on improving educational outcomes, expanding virtual curriculum, and integrating AI into the classroom. Chad is also committed to enhancing teacher training, updating program resources, and ensuring the program’s growth and sustainability.
