Elaine Medina is an Educational Specialist in the Coordinated Support Office under the Office of the Deputy Superintendent within the Hawai‘i State Department of Education, with over 20 years of experience in teaching, instructional coaching, school improvement, and statewide leadership.
She is committed to advancing equitable, student-centered learning systems that promote critical thinking, collaboration, engagement, and real-world problem solving to prepare learners for a rapidly changing world.
In her current role, she supports school improvement efforts through collaborative, data-informed practices and helps build system capacity to strengthen instruction and student outcomes across Hawai‘i.
