Jeremy Bunkley is an Education Solution Engineer at Google, bringing over two decades of dedicated leadership in educational information technology to his role. He is passionate about helping K-12 school districts modernize their digital infrastructure, focusing on the strategic integration of Google Workspace, Gemini, and ChromeOS to create future-ready learning environments.Throughout his career, Jeremy has served in executive roles across several Florida school districts. Prior to joining Google, he was the Chief Information Officer for Hillsborough County Public Schools. His leadership footprint also includes serving as CIO for the Clay County School District, Director of Technology for the Union County School Board, and beginning his career in education within his home district of Gilchrist County.Jeremy is a steadfast advocate for educational equity. He firmly believes that technology is the ultimate equalizer, essential for leveling the playing field and ensuring all students—regardless of background—have access to the information, tools, and opportunities they need to succeed.An active voice in the educational technology community, Jeremy has long contributed to national and state EdTech boards to help shape the future of digital learning. Outside of his professional endeavors Jeremy resides near Gainesville, Florida, and loves spending his free time exploring state and national parks with his wife and son.
